We got to go and the food was delicious. This is the only place that individually wraps containers so they don't leak all over the place, and that consideration alone makes them with going back to. But the food quality and flavor was great. The flavor didn't align with other Thai I've had in the past but it was still really good. The only down sides were the fried bananas had an odd tasting sauce, the egg rolls also had an odd flavor and no coconut rice - it's not even a menu option. But all in all, like most of the restaurants in the town, a great quality, reasonable prices and a sleeper worth eating at.

Love Basil's Cafe & I recommend it to anyone. It has a little something for everyone, with the menu containing both Vietnamese and Thai food. The facilities have always been clean, and the service is always fast, professional, and cordial. Food is cooked to order, and you can tell because it always comes out steaming hot. Prices are kind of median, but the portion sizes always make it a good deal. If you're dining inside, definitely try the Vietnamese-styled iced coffee. It's so strong and robust, while still being sweet because of the condensed milk. I always get the Pineapple Fried Rice w/ Tofu, and it always come out delicious and fresh tasting, and with how much I get in my to-do order it lasts me almost three meals. If you're looking to expand the list of your favourite restaurants, then you should definitely go to Basil's!

Excellent food! Pineapple fries rice is delicious, just the right amount of curry to offset the sweet pineapple. Thai iced tea and bahn mi (chicken or beef) are also wonderful! Our favorite place in Long Beach!

The dishes we ordered were very tasty! The dessert " Sticky rice with sliced mango" was the BEST! I could have given this 5 stars , but the level of spiciness was a little bit too much. Otherwise, my friends and I had a great time. The lady who attended us was all sweetness herself. Highly recommend this restaurant 👌.

I love this place! They have great pho and thai tea! The staff is very friendly too! It only took like 5-10 minutes to get my food.
